Take the ground meat in a mixing bowl for the köfte mixture. (If you're using bread, soak bread in a separate bowl with a little water to soften.)

Add 1 grated onion, 2 minced garlic,2 slices of bread or breadcrumbs 4 tablespoons of water (If you have used bread and soaked it, do not add water. If you have used breadcrumbs, add water.) and mix well.

Finally, add 1 egg, ½ tablespoon of semolina, and ½ teaspoon of baking soda, and continue kneading for about 10 minutes.

Then, add 1 teaspoon of salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and cumin.

Lastly, lift the köfte mixture 10 times and forcefully hit the bowl. Make sure to do this step.
