Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a pot. Add 800 grams of diced beef and sauté until the meat releases its juices and they evaporate.

Add 1 finely chopped onion and 3 cloves of minced garlic, then continue sautéing with the meat.

At this stage, add 1 tablespoon of flour and sauté with the meat for about 2-3 minutes, until the flour loses its raw smell. Then add 1 dessert spoon of tomato paste and mix.

Next, add 1 teaspoon of salt and black pepper, 2 diced potatoes, and 1 diced carrot. Pour in 3 cups of hot water.

Cover the pot with a lid and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.
