(If you're afraid of using a pressure cooker, you can use a regular pot as well.) 30 minutes is not an exact time; you can adjust the time based on the type of pot you're using.

  • Step 2

Chop 400 grams of mushrooms. Put 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a deep pan and add the mushrooms. Stir constantly to prevent them from releasing their water.

Once the mushrooms are softened, chop and add the 2 green bell peppers and 1 onion, to the pan. After sautéing for a while, dice and add 2-3 tomatoes. (You can peel the tomatoes if you prefer.)

  • Step 4

Add the 1 teaspoon of salt, thyme, black pepper, cumin and red pepper flakes and continue to cook.

  • Step 5

When the tomatoes release their juices, strain the meat and add it to the pan. You can also add 2-3 tablespoons of the meat broth if desired.

  • Step 6

Cook the mixture in the wide pan with the meat for an additional 6-8 minutes, then divide it into small casseroles. If you don't have small casseroles, you can use a large one.

  • Step 7

Sprinkle 1 suop bowl of grated kasar on top and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until the kasar turns golden brown.

  • Step 8

Once it's cooked, remove from the oven and serve. Enjoy your meal!
